bold and homely.

I made this huge pincushion last week. It's different...the pattern itself is cute, but I do believe my choice of fabrics is skewered. No matter, I love it! And I can find my pins in the blink of an eye. I liken this pincushion to the ugly child, whose parents see only the beauty in their baby. This is my baby...and I l-o-v-e her!

I've used this pattern too - its fab isn't it? I was a bit dubious at first becasue it is so large but now I love it.
I kinda like your choice of fabrics - at least you'll never lose it!!

oh I disagree! I think it works! But then I would be like the pincushions moms bff's so I guess I would just naturally love it too. ~grins~

I think it's stinkin cute! Maybe someday when my husband is rich, I'll fly to FL and we can have a sewing week! I am trying to teach myself, but I often get stuck. My sweet mom tried so hard to teach me, but I was a VERY stubburn student. I bough a serger a few months ago, but have yet to make very much with it. I need ideas... and time!

I think it's pretty Pattie. I have this pattern, but haven't gotten it made up yet...it's on the to-do list. :0)
