*In memory of Grandma Moran, who was united with Jesus and the Blessed Mother on this day.
Her love and goodness was an inspiration to us all.
I know that her bonnie-blue eyes are lovingly looking upon us,
encouraging us to be good, loving & faithful to the Lord.

I miss Grandma Moran! Thank you for mentioning her today. I remember so many things about her and treasure them close to my heart. As the oldest grandchild, I know I was truely blessed to be able to spend so much time with her and get to know her. I used to love to hear all of her stories (as well as the rest of the cackle club) about growing up on the island. I miss her smile and her german potato salad. I think I will make some this weekend in honnor of her! I remember the day when she passed away. I was a a youth fireside for my church. I came home and dad came into my room and told me that she had passed on. I remember playing my cello at her funneral. It was hard, but I knew how much she loved to hear me play. She was such a blessing to our family. Even though it was hard, I am so grateful that my parents took us over to see her as often as they could. Thank you so much again for reminding us of her love!

I know, sweetheart! She was good and genuine and she loved you all so dearly! I remember when you were born and how happy we all were. She loved to look at you! What a blessing that your parents were so faithful to her and so good to her. What a gift your Mom and Dad gave to you kids. You remember your visits with her and you have her love with you in whatever you do. JR would have loved her! If my Jonathan had been a girl, he would have been "Katherine."

I try to remember Valentine's Day as the moment God wanted Grandma to be his Valentine.

I love you, Donna!

We went to Mass on Saturday, as we try to do every Valentine's Day. I do believe that it is 10 years, 1999? My how time flies! Spoke with Mom and Dad yesterday as well. We ( Micheal and I )are headed to Hershey on Tuesday for a Mass on Wednesday for Irene ... again, how time flies ... one year! My heart is as heavy now as it was a year ago. Oh well, maybe her and Grandma are baking apple pies and Rudy and Frank are supervising, with a beer in hand! Looking foward to seeing you soon! xoxoxoxo
